Maplewood at Newtown seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing/Designee reporting to the Director of Nursing.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring clinical services are provided in accordance with state regulations, accepted clinical standards, agency policy and standards.
  • Coordinate and manage all nursing and personal care attendant services provided to residents.

QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut who has one of the following:
  • A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience in nursing, at least 1 year of which shall be in a home health care agency or community health program that included care of the sick at home:
  • OR
  • A diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing and at least 4 years full time equivalent clinical experience in nursing within the past 10 years, at least 1 year of which shall be in a home health care agency or community health program that included care of the sick at home.
